While staying in Bar Harbor, I walked along the coastal path. The Porcupine Islands are along there. Now that title makes sense because I have run into porcupines up there. The Lulu Lobster boat took me along there too!

Natural Arches Beach is located at the southern tip of the peninsula, Tucker’s Town, where it joins with the mainland. This is Bermuda's most famous beach, and was noted for its natural rock formations and caves until they were largely destroyed by Hurricane Fabian in 2003. I stayed there many times over the years, watching coral formations gradually and quickly change.

The Flatts are right between St. George and Hamilton. Nice and quiet, shallow water best for mooring. I sat on the pier, did this little painting and got out of the way. I found out people settled there in 1612! One of Bermuda’s first.
